We cordially invite you to the launch event for the 2025 program of Independent Space Index 2025!

Independent Space Index is the largest annual joint event of Vienna’s independent contemporary art spaces. Visitors can attend freely accessible special events and exhibitions with joint open hours. 

With 58 spaces participating in the open house weekend, and more than 60 events, the launch event is a chance to gather information to prepare your personal tour. Get an overview of the festival program, pick up a festival guide and poster, try out our integrated digital map and navigation tool, exchange tips about the festival weekend, and join space operators and artists to celebrate and share Vienna’s lively independent contemporary art scene.

A handy printed version of the festival program can be picked up just outside of eSeL Rezeption after May 23rd. (between 10:00 and 22:00 daily)
