The exhibition >Resonanz, Lichtrisse und Schalltritte< at Kunstraum am Schauplatz explores the intersection of the visual artist Olga Titus and the sound artist Andy Guhl. On display are current works by Olga Titus and works from the archive of Andy Guhl.

Olga Titus uses resonance in various ways in her multimedia works to address cultural identity and self-expression. In her colorful, animated image montages, which often create resonance through movement and color changes, she combines analog and digital techniques.

Andy Guhl, known for his pioneering work in experimental art and multimedia sound art, deals with resonance in the form of physical and acoustic feedback. He often uses modified or “hacked” everyday devices to create new worlds of sound and image that make resonance tangible in its physically perceptible form.
